Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 Annual

About the Role

Shelby’s Franchise Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly organized and dependable Construction Project Coordinator to support our Vice President of Construction & Project Management. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role designed for someone early in their construction career who wants real exposure to retail buildouts. This role is based full-time at our Vaughan construction office and will require deployment to job sites as needed.

Role Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator will act as the right hand to the VP of Construction. This individual will help manage active projects, maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy, coordinate deliveries, and support installations and site needs. This is not a purely administrative role. It combines office coordination with physical site involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support
• Track open construction projects and maintain updated status logs
• Assist in organizing permits, drawings, invoices, and contracts
• Follow up with trades and vendors on timelines and outstanding items
• Help manage punch lists and warranty tracking
• Prepare basic progress updates for leadership

Warehouse & Inventory

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse environment
• Conduct inventory counts of equipment, fixtures, and materials
• Track inbound and outbound shipments
• Coordinate delivery logistics to franchise locations
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of assets

Site Deployment

• Travel to construction sites as required
• Assist with equipment installations
• Support store openings
• Help coordinate and conduct warranty repairs
• Conduct site walkthroughs and report deficiencies
• Handle emergency material deliveries when needed

Administrative & Operational Support

• Assist in scheduling meetings and site visits
• Maintain organized project files (digital and physical)
• Support cost tracking and documentation
• Ensure no project detail falls through the cracks

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in:
• Construction
• Project support
• Site coordination
• Warehouse or trade-related roles
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments
• Strong organizational skills
• Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment when needed
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong work ethic and high accountability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic project documentation
