Construction Manager

Job Summary

We are hiring a Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction, checkout, and startup activities for capital projects. This role serves as the primary field lead, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with contract and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site oversight of contractors and field activities
• Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards
• Track schedule performance and monitor overall project progress
• Lead weekly construction meetings and issue progress reports
• Review and coordinate RFIs, change orders, and field issues
• Inspect installed work to ensure quality and alignment with design
• Coordinate permits, site logistics, tie-ins, and operational interfaces
• Maintain field documentation, drawings, and as-built records
• Monitor Time & Materials costs
• Serve as liaison between contractors, engineering, and site leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management, preferably in industrial or process environments
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and field coordination
• Ability to manage multiple contractors in an active site environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
