We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of eye care and vision health, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing various eye conditions, conducting comprehensive eye exams, and offering personalized recommendations for eyewear and treatment options. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and optical systems will be essential in ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye diseases.
* Provide comprehensive patient care by developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
* Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of corrective lenses.
* Utilize medical coding for accurate documentation of patient records.
* Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in optometry and related fields.
* Manage pediatric patients with a focus on their unique visual needs.
* Ensure a high level of customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state license to practice optometry.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the visual system.
* Proficiency in medical coding practices relevant to optometry.
* Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
* Familiarity with optical systems and equipment used in eye examinations.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence in clinical decision-making.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
Compensation Package:
* 1099 contract
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Evenings as needed
* No weekends

* OPTOMETRY: 10 years (Required)
