About
*Immediate needs in the following areas: Santa Clara County and/or Peninsula as well as surrounding areas*
*Job duties include but are not limited to the following:*
* Evaluates speech and language abilities and patient’s level of function.
* Plans and administers rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders.
* Assists in developing and implementing the patient plan of care.
* Observes, reports and records types of patient treatment as well as patient’s progress and/or regression.
* Submits written reports of patient progress at the designated intervals of every thirty (30) days and at discharge using the appropriate forms.
* Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and material for patient evaluation and treatment purposes.
* Instructs, teaches, supervises and counsels other applicable personnel and family members in methods of assisting the patient in improving, correction and/or accepting his or her disabilities.
* Instructs, teaches and supervises the patient’s family in the total speech therapy program.
* Participates in in-service education and staff development activities.
* Evaluates home environment and makes appropriate recommendations.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* ST must be a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.
* Possess a Master’s degree in speech pathology or its equivalent
* At least one (1) year of supervised work experience with adult patients
* Licensed by the California Board of Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
