The Analytics Engineer will convert raw operational complexity into decision-grade data products, tackling critical problems and owning the analytical layer that powers key decisions like underwriting, pricing, and capital allocation.
Responsibilities : • Build and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake and dbt that power underwriting, merchant reporting, and portfolio analytics • Build dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools that clearly communicate complex findings and help answer high-stakes business questions • Partner closely with engineering and finance to understand our ledger and AP, end-to-end • Work as part of a high-impact BizOps team tackling Fragile’s most critical and complex problems • Own projects end to end: scope analytical requirements, model data, validate outputs, and support high-stakes decisions
Qualifications : Required : • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • 0–3 years of experience (strong recent grads welcome) or equivalent hands-on project experience • Strong SQL skills and comfort with data modeling (Snowflake, dbt, or equivalent) • Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, systems thinking) • Interest in fintech, e-commerce, operational analytics • Based in San Francisco (in-office collaboration required)
