Qualifications and Education/Experience

A bachelor’s degree is required; preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or other applicable field

At least 5 years of commercial construction industry experience, with at least 2 of those years in project management

Experience overseeing contracts of $10 million or more

Experience managing project teams of 1-10 members

Experience in managing workloads and maintaining productivity under time-sensitive conditions

Technical knowledge of building components and systems

Excellent understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards

Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Thorough knowledge of procedures: A102 and A201 contracts, subcontracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs and close out

Proficiency with Bluebeam, BIM, Suretrak, Procore and Autodesk

Position Summary :

The Project Manager primary focuses on collaborating closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure high-quality pre-construction and construction execution. You are responsible for establishing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules that serve as a meaningful baseline for tracking progress and ensuring project milestones are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients, owners' representatives, architects, and subcontractors, fostering trust and collaboration that lead to repeat business and client referrals.

· Effectively manages client expectations by maintaining clear communication, providing regular project updates, and proactively addressing concerns to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget. Oversees the full project lifecycle including bidding and buyout, project startup, on-site management, and efficient closeout to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

· Manages subcontractor procurement and oversees the administration of submittals, RFIs and change orders to ensure timely coordination and compliance with project requirements. Identifies and mitigates project risks through proactive planning, compliance enforcement, and effective problem-solving to ensure successful project outcomes. Execute consistent schedule reporting to track impacts on the baseline and maintain project alignment with key milestones. Collaborates proactively with the Project Superintendent to ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of jobsite safety throughout all phases of the project. Enforces safety policies and procedures.

· Regular attendance is required according to company policy to ensure crew can operate at normal level of efficiency.

 Effectively delegates responsibilities while mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and overall performance. Oversees all project documentation to ensure records are complete, organized, and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements. Drives profitability by analyzing project financials, managing risks, and implementing corrective actions to optimize gross margin.

Work Environment :

· Frequent walking on uneven surfaces, including ground in varying weather conditions.

· Regularly sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.

· May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.

· May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on frequent basis.

· Occasionally climb stairs or ladders, etc.

· Regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Exposure to outdoor environment with machinery/equipment in the surrounding area.

· This position requires the use and operation of a personal and/or company vehicle.

· Able to wear personal protective equipment is required, including but not limited to steel toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.

· Able to safely operate a motor vehicle.

· Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
