Position: Associate Project Manager
Type: Onsite
Location: Kent, WA *Must live in the greater Seattle area.

MORE ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Associate Project Manager will lead pre-production supply chain, schedule management, and cross-functional team meeting activities on new product launches, line extensions and/or product change/enhancements to existing products, and cost savings initiatives. They will also lead the commercialization of private-label products for key customers. This position acts as a liaison between the Marketing department and other key cross-functional stakeholders. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with one day remote on Friday’s.
WAGE: Salary range for this position is $81,000.00 - $86,000 annually, subject to all required taxes and withholdings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead project scoping, timeline and deliverable development in collaboration with management and stakeholders
- Lead key private label product commercialization
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive effective and efficient project execution
- Track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.
- Communicate, document, and archive project team activities and decisions, act as a primary contact for project team related information.
- Closely monitor and manage scope and change requests.
- Lead project meetings and communicate status of project to ensure key stakeholders are informed on prioritization and progress
- Managing product transitions, product inventory, and new item setups
- Build positive and effective relationships with stakeholders, peers, vendors, and throughout the organization, including company leadership and executives.
- Identify, document and communicate project risks and contingency plans.
- Communicate effectively using sound judgment and interacting with a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide constructive feedback to help optimize and streamline procedures and processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 1-3 years of project management or equivalent experience working on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in product management and/or consumer products preferred
- Requires project management knowledge
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to provide insight around potential risks and opportunities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with QAD Enterprise software, or other equivalent MRP system is preferred
- Well-developed writing, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to multi-task and work towards tight deadlines in a dynamic project-oriented environment
- Demonstrates high standards and quality in all endeavors; solid work ethic
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to independently execute projects and tasks
- Able to juggle competing priorities and prioritize effectively
- Strong organization abilities and detail oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment is that of an office environment. This employee regularly works with office equipment, materials, chemicals, wet floors, and with wet equipment when on the production floor. This employee works around high voltage, hot water, and steam
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Physical work includes climbing stairs, etc.
- Willing to work in a various-temperature environment
- Ability to handle items weighing under 25lbs or may need to move objects safely and with proper body mechanics.
- Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
