Commercial Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Oversee and be responsible for all company projects from start to finish.

. Oversee and be responsible for construction staff and direct reports

· Complete management of the owner and subcontractor change orders process

· Complete management of the Request for Information process

· Coordinate, maintain and oversee Owner meetings, agendas and meeting minutes

· Coordinate and oversee Subcontractor meetings, agendas and meeting minutes

· Develop and maintain weekly updated construction schedules for all projects.

· Responsible for organization of complete project files and documents: Plans, CO log, RFI

log, Meetings log, Submittals log, schedule log, project file, etc

· Develop, implement and maintain a safety plan.

· Manage and maintain a quality subcontractor base

· Organize and deliver project closeouts

· Manage warranty service

· Manage contract budgets to meet financial objectives of projects

· Manage overhead budgets to meet the financial objectives of Build Strategic

· Successfully co-ordinate, communicate and interact with all parties involved: Fellow employees,

clients, architects, consultants, sub-contractors and laborers.

· Participate in a key role of all company and project planning, budgeting, and identification of

resources needed.

· Assume the responsibility as a leader of all company related issues.

· Maintain a strong focus on quality.

· Uphold a high level of honesty and integrity

· Refine computer skills to meet Build Strategic standards

· Participate in paperless business

· Participate in the development of company policies and procedures.

. Additional duties normally performed by a Project Manager or as may be assigned by Employer from

time to time.
