Construction Project Manager

Job Description

True North Builders, Inc is seeking a Project Manager for upcoming high-finish commercial and custom home projects.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can multitask, and is experienced in this line of work.

Project sizes range from $2-$20M.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation

-Develop clear direction for subcontractors outlining scope, objectives, timelines, etc. 

-Manage work scope changes through established processes

-Manage overall estimate and budget updates for the client(s)

-Allocate resources for assigned projects

-Manage the closeout process

-Help the project superintendent to ensure a safe working environment

-Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials and clients

-Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications

-Produce regular updates for the Owner and other team members

Qualifications:

-Minimum 5-7 years of experience in this position.

-Experience with high finish construction

-Familiarity with construction management and scheduling software

-Familiarity with other software such as MS Outlook , Excel, Word, and Bluebeam

-Strong leadership & organizational qualities

-Deadline and detail oriented

-Must have a valid drivers license, drug free, and pass a background check

-A positive attitude is a must

-Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or similar degree is preferred.
