Construction Project Manager

Overstreet Builders is a custom builder in the Chicago suburbs looking to fill the position of Project Manager. Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Office position with occasional site visitation for client and/or subcontractor meetings.
• Estimate/bid custom home designs and options for new residential construction projects.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Read, interpret, and understand project documentation, building code and municipal requirements, and communicate to outside vendors and subcontractors.
• Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating price.
• Learn amenities lists and inclusions for the various model homes, update and maintain records of bids to maintain current pricing.
• Review Architecture plans and compare with received bid packages and proposed amenities lists to
