Job Description
The Special Projects Manager plays a critical leadership role overseeing the Service Department Manager and team. This position ensures seamless project execution by managing client communications, coordinating installations, and providing on-site support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate Service Department activities in collaboration with the Service Manager
- Manage material procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability
- Set and manage customer expectations while maintaining project timelines
- Provide on-site support and guidance to field personnel
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress and status
- Develop and manage daily and long-term project schedules
- Coordinate manpower scheduling for installations and service operations
- Serve as the primary communication link between clients, contractors, and internal teams
Candidate Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with field installation of fire alarm and data network systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
