About the Role:
The Staff Technical Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in turning strategy into action by enabling the successful delivery of products, platforms, and services. This hands-on position involves daily decision-making, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring that delivery is efficient, high‑quality, and aligned with business objectives. You will make key decisions on feature development, balance competing priorities, and ensure deliverables meet expectations for quality, budget, and timelines. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will help bring impactful, customer‑focused solutions to life. At this level, the Staff Technical Programme Manager leads multiple interdependent projects or programmes, ensuring clear alignment between business goals and delivery execution. You will mentor team members, guide cross-functional groups, resolve dependencies, and champion best practices in resource management and financial stewardship. You will play a key role in shaping high‑performing teams and ensuring impactful, organisation‑wide delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
Technology Delivery Management
Lead delivery across products, platforms, and business processes to achieve targeted outcomes.
Build and manage roadmaps, schedules, and budgets.
Act as the primary liaison between global stakeholders, engineering teams, and business units.
Apply Agile frameworks to track progress, address dependencies, and ensure continuous value delivery.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
Monitor product, platform, or service performance to enhance reliability, compliance, and efficiency.
Champion transparency across the organisation by showcasing work, sharing metrics, and gathering ongoing feedback.
Resource and Vendor Management
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and technology suppliers
Optimise capacity planning while maintaining a high standard of delivery and quality.
Financial Management
Oversee budget planning, financial tracking, cost control, and reporting.
Ensure alignment with business objectives while maintaining strong financial discipline across projects.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
Extensive experience operating within complex, global organisations.
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated success applying Agile, Lean, and modern delivery methodologies.
Strong problem‑solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
A passion for enabling teams, solving complex challenges, and driving meaningful outcomes.
