About
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and expertise in automotive systems.
*Duties*
* Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks such as alignment, welding, and general automotive repair.
* Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues accurately.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician, preferably with dealership experience.
* Must have own tools.
* New York State Inspectors License is required and ASE Certification is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
* Familiarity with auto estimating practices and GM vehicles is a plus.
* Proficient in using diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting automotive issues.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience working with various types of vehicles, including knowledge of alignment procedures and powertrain systems.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
