Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and/or participating in all phases of a project’s lifecycle from inception to completion. Project Managers work closely with clients, the Sales organization, Operations personnel, and third-party technicians to successfully complete projects, installations, and site visits. They have the responsibility for preparing and maintaining all project related status reports and managing all issues and risks through to resolution. In essence, the Project Manager is a key role, and the many clients we serve. The Project Manager position reports to Director of Operations. They are a leading supplier of products and services that support the Point of Sale (POS), CCTV, Security, and low voltage infrastructure to many of North America’s best-known retailers. This can be a stressful job, but you must have excellent Customer Service skills. Customer is always right and you need to work with them to have a great outcome.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates for the Project Manager position must possess the following:

Ø Two years of proven Project Management experience

Ø College Degree Preferred

Ø Experience dealing with contractors is a MUST

Ø Knowledge of IT infrastructure and POS systems are a MUST

Ø Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Ø Strong customer focus and a sense of urgency are essential

Ø Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Ø Strong ability to learn, expand knowledge base, and apply best practices in a complex environment

Ø Flexible, in terms of tasks and hours, some weekends

Ø Excellent skills in MS Office, especially, Outlook and Excel (pivot tables a must, conditional formatting, data tools, VLOOKUP’s, rules, and VBA are a plus)

Ø NetSuite or MS SharePoint is a HUGE PLUS

Ø On rare occasions some traveling
