Position Summary: The Project Manager must demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. They should exhibit a high level of organization, attention to detail, ambition, and drive. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, consistently meets deadlines, and demonstrates adaptability. While collaborative, the candidate must also display initiative when necessary. A background in Food Service Equipment or Installation is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the growth of various projects and cultivate client relationships.
- Coordinate job reviews with the team and project Engineers.
- Review all incoming Requests for Information (RFIs) and generate outgoing RFIs.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all project documents.
- Review plans and specifications for access and egress points, amps, voltages, physical dimensions, anchorage, alternates, etc.
- Develop a critical path with Installers based on project schedule and parameters.
- Conduct field measurements with Installers if required.
- Sign subcontract change orders.
- Update weekly schedules.
- Facilitate jobsite MEP coordination meetings.
- Arrange deliveries and installations.
- Conduct field walks with Installers.
- Review the scope of each project.
- Review and approve submittals for release.
- Ensure timely ordering of all equipment for installation.
- Oversee all subcontract coordination.
- Ensure adherence to all plans, specifications, and MEP drawings.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- 3 years of project management experience.
- Background in Food Service Equipment or Installation.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Review recaps for accuracy.
- Verify billed amounts and ensure billing aligns with project schedule and contract parameters.
