About the job
Full-time and Onsite
Responsibilities of the role will include leading the following activities:
· Perform site investigative research of various properties and buildings
· Prepare Property Condition Assessment reports, Construction Monitoring reports, and upfront Plan and Cost peer reviews for investors and lending institutions
· Conduct walk-through surveys of buildings to assess the condition of a building’s components and site work improvements. Prepare cost estimate costs to remedy building deficiencies
· Conduct review of construction plans, costs, contracts and schedules
· Interview property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the subject property
· Coordinate and manage tasks associated with the implementation of field activities and report preparation
· Ensure that work is completed within budget and in accordance with client timing
Requirements -- Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field required
· Two or more years of experience working on projects, technical and administrative requirements, applicable technical guidance, and field investigative procedures
· Two or more years of experience preparing reports and forms for ASTM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and client requirements
· Manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate status to clients and internal management
· Ability to conduct field visits including use of roof ladders, attics, and confined spaces
· Ability to travel 20%-30% of the time (including some overnight travel)
· Experience with reviewing or preparing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction drawings
· Proficiency in computer programs in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and on-line platforms
