About the Role
The Project Manager I (PM 1) is a first-tier, fully functioning project management position responsible for leading and managing multiple full-cycle construction projects from start to finish. You’ll guide a team of Assistant Project Managers and trade partners to deliver exceptional results that meet or exceed Paragon’s production, quality, and safety standards.
You’ll be a key driver of excellence — leading 10+ active projects simultaneously while developing your team and ensuring that every detail meets the Paragon Standard .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of multiple construction projects — from pre-construction through final occupancy
- Lead, train, and mentor Assistant Project Managers to ensure growth and consistency across all job sites
- Participate in design and plan reviews to identify constructability issues and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards using BuilderTrend and FTQ360
- Coordinate and communicate with trade partners, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment and progress
- Enforce safety, cleanliness, and quality protocols on all job sites
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Document daily progress, changes, and performance metrics to maintain transparency and accountability
- Research and implement innovative construction methods and materials that advance Paragon’s mission
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction project management
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams or direct reports
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and site management
- Experience with BuilderTrend, FTQ360, or similar project management software
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
