ETL & BI Developer (m/w/d)

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting and transforming data from SQL Server–based systems
- Work across data domains including Sales, Finance, Commissions, Logistics, Procurement, and CRM
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for consumption by BI platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and data requirements
- Optimize data transformation logic for performance and maintainability
- Support data delivery into Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Azure Synapse Analytics
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data flows, transformations, or report outputs
- 3+ years of professional experience in ETL development (SSIS, stored procedures, scripting, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server as a primary data source
- Hands-on experience working with large, multi-source transactional systems
- Familiarity with one or more BI/reporting tools (Qlik Sense preferred, Power BI)
- Understanding of data modeling and dimensional design principles
- Fluent english skills are necessary, german language skills are a plus
Desirable but not essential requirements:
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Databricks
- Ability to write Python scripts or use automation tools
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, access control, etc.)
- Experience working across business domains such as:
Sales and revenue, Finance and general ledger, Commissions and payouts, Procurement and inventory, Logistics and fulfillment, Customer and partner data
