Your Team

What is the goal of our Sales team? That's easy: Step by step, we want to make Statista the number one source of information for making fact-based decisions in both established and new markets. Our team is diverse and international – just like the Statista platform. Together, we constantly acquire new customers and ensure that our existing clients are happy and well informed about the numerous tried-and-true and continuously evolving options on Statista.com.


  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, with a focus on acquiring new business and proactively developing sales opportunities with the allocated territories and verticals.
  • Develop, manage and grow an existing book of business through fostering strong client relationships and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue prospects through outbound activities and communicate our value propositions effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, product, research team and customers, and collaborate cross-functionally to consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets.
  • Draft, conceptualize and share new sales campaigns and ideas within our growing team.
  • Identify customers' pain points quickly and recommend suitable solutions to create value for the customer. Throughout the process, provide a high level of customer service, display an ability to build strong relationships and achieve a deep understanding of customers' commercial objectives and motivations accurately.
  • Monitor the advertising and sponsorship of competitive publications and events.

  • 5+ years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and achieving \ exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in outbound sales and acquiring new business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating emotional intelligence and the ability to connect authentically with decision- makers.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Willingness to take business trips for events.
  • Keen eye for detail and great organization skills.
