Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Stage materials for order picking and shipping processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Report any damages, shortages, or safety concerns to management.
- Follow specific guidelines for lifting and handling various types of materials.
- Support the logistics team in achieving operational targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including regular lifting (up to 70 lbs). Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role is critical for maintaining efficient material flow and ensuring the safety of our logistics workforce.
