Your primary responsibilities will involve the safe and efficient movement of materials, including loading and unloading shipments, stocking inventory, and preparing items for outgoing distribution. Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and checks.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Use required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Perform tasks requiring significant lifting and physical exertion, following safe lifting guidelines.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics goals.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling position is advantageous.
- Proficiency with pallet jacks and familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and commitment to using PPE.
- Physical capability to handle frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long hours.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control.
