Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials and orders.
- Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily logistics targets.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Assist in preparing materials for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and packaged.
- Handle tasks involving significant lifting and manual labor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform frequent lifting and stand for extended periods.
