We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary role will involve ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse facility, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of inventory. Attention to detail and adherence to company policies are crucial for this role. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Performing daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assisting with inventory counts and maintaining accurate records.
- Identifying and reporting any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
- Following specific pick and pack instructions for order fulfillment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Meeting performance targets for productivity and accuracy.
- This role involves significant Lifting and physical activity.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- A commitment to workplace Safety is paramount.
