The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of material handling equipment and a strong understanding of warehouse **logistics**. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform significant **Lifting** and operate equipment safely. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Pick and transport materials to production or shipping areas as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure all **safety** regulations are followed, including proper **PPE** usage.
- Perform routine **Lifting** of items weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring timely movement of goods.
Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role. Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy **Lifting**, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong knowledge of warehouse **safety** procedures and **PPE**. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced **logistics** environment.
