Join our team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a critical role responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse using various equipment to locate and retrieve items. This position is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment, utilizing **PPE** as required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or RF scanners.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station using pallet jacks, carts, or other equipment.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to **safety** standards.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse **logistics** and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to workplace **safety**.
