About
We are expanding our team in Orlando, Florida, and seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our logistics center, handling a range of tasks from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic. You will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfillment. Our commitment to safety means comprehensive training on all procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations using inventory management systems.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support the broader logistics team with various warehouse duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Good communication skills.
