Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work closely with other team members to maintain an organized and safe working environment. This position offers a great opportunity to grow within a leading logistics company.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and record-keeping.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
