Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Scan items to record picks and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against pick lists.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely to transport items.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or potential hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks to support warehouse management.
- Engage in ongoing training to improve picking accuracy and speed.
- Perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an order picking role or general warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions and product labels.
- Basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safe operating procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks requiring standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A strong understanding of logistics operations and a dedication to safety is essential.
