Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order fulfillment lists or system prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correct product and quantity.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, using correct materials.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and packing area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or potential hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant lifting and physical activity throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to read and interpret order documents and product codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of logistics processes and warehouse safety protocols.
- A commitment to safe practices is essential in our logistics environment.
