We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips, ensuring correct quantities and product codes are matched. This role requires a high level of attention to detail to minimize errors and maintain customer satisfaction. You will be operating various warehouse equipment, potentially including pallet jacks or order pickers, to retrieve stock from designated locations. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is crucial for efficient operations and safety. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount in this role. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable with physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Scan items to update inventory in the WMS.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers as needed (certification may be required).
- Ensure the correct quantity and product codes are picked for each order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues immediately.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
