Join our dedicated warehouse team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as an Order Picker! You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items to fulfill customer orders. This role is a vital component of our logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items for accuracy and quality before proceeding to packing.
- Stage picked orders for consolidation and packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed, safely.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as directed, which may involve some lifting.
- Participate in inventory management tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret picking documents accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- A commitment to safety and following established procedures.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
