We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our thriving logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a wide range of warehouse tasks from receiving and put-away to order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stage and prepare outgoing shipments for carrier pick-up.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, but motivated individuals with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team are critical. A strong understanding of safety procedures and the proper use of PPE is mandatory.
