We are looking for dedicated individuals to fill Picker/Packer positions in our Kansas City, Missouri warehouse. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to ensuring our customers receive the correct orders promptly. You will work in a dynamic warehouse setting, utilizing scanning devices and other tools to locate and retrieve products. Attention to detail and speed are essential for success in this role. We maintain a strong focus on Safety, requiring all team members to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols. The position requires physical stamina, including significant Lifting and movement throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product information and quantities against orders.
- Ensure proper labeling of packages for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts is helpful.
