Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations. Your efforts directly contribute to our company's ability to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of service. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or scanning equipment.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, tidying aisles, and disposing of waste.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow instructions.
