We are seeking a diligent and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your primary duties will involve operating forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely loading and unloading of trucks. You will also be involved in preparing orders for shipment, which may include picking, packing, and staging materials. Strong attention to detail is essential to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent damage to goods. This position requires a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, possess excellent organizational skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse equipment and a solid understanding of logistics operations. Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
