We are hiring Picker/Packers for our fast-paced distribution center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from shelves and packing them securely for shipment to our customers. This position is the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our clients receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work with a dedicated team to meet daily targets and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are crucial. Your tasks will involve using scanning devices, navigating the warehouse, and handling a variety of products. The role requires physical stamina, including regular Lifting of boxes and moving products throughout the warehouse. - Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanner directives.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding warehouse area.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve warehouse goals.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and pick lists.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability for regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics is beneficial.
