About
Our Richmond, Virginia facility is looking for dedicated Fulfillment Associates to contribute to our expanding logistics network. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by accurately processing orders from receipt to shipment. We value diligence, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. As a Fulfillment Associate, your responsibilities will span across various warehouse functions, including receiving goods, accurate stocking, precise picking of items, careful packing, and timely dispatch. This position demands an individual who can work independently and as part of a team, maintain a high level of accuracy, and strictly follow all safety guidelines. We are committed to fostering a secure workplace, and adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Execute pick and pack operations with precision and speed to fulfill customer orders.
- Receive incoming inventory, check for damages, and record received goods accurately.
- Organize and place inventory into designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Utilize manual equipment like pallet jacks to move merchandise.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stocktaking.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational deadlines.
- Report any operational issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, e-commerce, or similar logistics setting is advantageous. Must be comfortable with physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 pounds. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Basic understanding of inventory control principles. Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount for success in this role.
