We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our warehouse and supporting overall logistics operations. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all operators to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stack and store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform regular safety checks on equipment before and during operation.
- Follow all warehouse Safety regulations and guidelines meticulously.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and tracking stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary and performing strenuous physical tasks.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and material handling principles.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
