We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials within our distribution center. Your primary duty will involve operating various types of forklifts to transport inventory, raw materials, and finished goods. A strong commitment to Safety is absolutely essential; you will be expected to follow all operating procedures, maintain your equipment, and wear the required PPE at all times. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also be involved in other warehouse duties as needed, including order picking, packing, and general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Experience with different types of forklifts and proficiency in handling various loads is crucial. This is a key position within our Logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility. We offer ongoing training and opportunities for professional development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a solid understanding of warehouse Safety protocols. You must be comfortable with physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds, in addition to operating heavy machinery.
