Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming materials and inventory.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock accuracy checks.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely to prevent damage and personal injury.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and logistics procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and using PPE.
