Manufacturing Rework Assembler

This opening is on 2nd Shift Only - hours for this position are from 6:30p to 3:45a.

2nd Shift does receive a shift premium of $1.50/hr extra for these hours.

OT can be anticipated along with some Saturdays.

TBAKI is hiring a Manufacturing Rework Assembler / Repair Team Member to support production by inspecting defective components, performing repairs, and ensuring products meet company quality standards.

This role is critical to maintaining product quality and supporting continuous improvement within our automotive manufacturing plant in Athens, Alabama.

• Inspect components to identify defects
• Disassemble and reassemble parts as needed
• Rework components to meet company quality standards
• Assist Manufacturing Team Leaders in daily production support
• Investigate quality issues and support problem-solving efforts
• Escalate supplier or quality concerns
• Create quality key point indicators for top defects
• Implement countermeasures to reduce repeat issues
• Prepare daily end-of-shift production summaries
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience using hand tools
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• English (written and verbal communication)

• Automotive manufacturing plant environment
• Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
• Standing, walking, and sitting required
• 0–10% travel
