About
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our growing team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, including loading and unloading, transferring items, and organizing inventory. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding rigorous safety standards. As a Material Handler, you play a key part in our logistics operations, ensuring materials are handled correctly from receipt to dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, or other work areas using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Accurately stage materials for outbound logistics.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist in keeping warehouse floors and loading areas clear.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment is advantageous. Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs). Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all regulations is mandatory. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. This role is integral to our logistics success.
