We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is integral to our logistics and distribution network, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and safely from arrival to departure. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be expected to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment and adhere to all company policies and procedures. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of materials. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must follow safety guidelines meticulously and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ongoing training will be provided to ensure you are up-to-date on the best practices in warehouse operations and safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Sort and place incoming inventory into designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Stage orders for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as frequent Lifting, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to adhering to PPE requirements and safety standards.
- Knowledge of general logistics procedures is helpful.
