We are searching for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This role is fundamental to our logistics and supply chain success, requiring individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. You will handle a variety of products and materials, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our facility. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are highly valued. We are looking for individuals who understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Support other warehouse duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
