We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City, New York. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling a wide range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and preparing shipments. This role demands a high level of organization, physical dexterity, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure that our inventory is managed effectively and that customer orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy. Your contributions are essential to the seamless functioning of our supply chain and maintaining customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders based on pick lists or WMS directives.
- Preparing orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Loading and unloading trucks and other vehicles.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ) at all times.
- Participating in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies, damages, or potential hazards.
- This role requires significant physical exertion, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Understanding and following all company policies and procedures.
- Contributing to a positive and productive warehouse culture.
