Our fast-paced distribution center in Austin, Texas, is seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse, supporting our extensive logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating various types of forklifts and will be responsible for safely moving, stacking, and organizing materials. You will perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order and report any maintenance needs. This position requires excellent spatial awareness and the ability to maneuver safely in a busy warehouse environment. Careful handling of products is essential to prevent damage. While the primary focus is operating the forklift, there will be instances of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds. Adherence to all safety regulations is of the utmost importance. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE , including a hard hat, safety vest, and steel-toed boots, at all times while operating machinery. A valid forklift certification is mandatory for this position. We are looking for a responsible, reliable individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Experience in shipping and receiving operations is a plus.
