Our company is seeking a diligent Warehouse Worker for our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing items for shipment. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is paramount, and all team members are expected to strictly adhere to Safety protocols and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the physical capacity to perform frequent Lifting of materials, sometimes in considerable weight. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Sort, label, and stock items in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to assigned pick lists.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all warehouse areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Support the daily logistics workflow and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard of Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Must be able to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to follow Safety instructions and wear required PPE.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Experience with logistics software is a bonus.
