Job Summary:
Join our energetic team as a Material Handler in Fort Worth, Texas! We are looking for individuals passionate about supporting warehouse operations and ensuring the smooth movement of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials within the facility, and preparing items for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics and supply chain efficiency. A commitment to safety and proper handling techniques is essential for success in this demanding, yet rewarding, position.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse.
  • Assist in order picking, packing, and staging for shipment.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Contribute to efficient inventory management by accurately moving and staging materials.
  • Support overall logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate material flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
  • Certification to operate forklifts is a strong plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling equipment and logistics processes.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
