About
We are hiring Distribution Center Associates for our San Diego, California facility. This position is central to our logistics operations, involving the efficient handling of goods from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and operating various warehouse equipment. A strong focus on Safety, accuracy, and productivity is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately using scanning technology.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial trucks safely.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to team goals and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards and best practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
