We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, playing a critical part in our overall logistics process. You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on Safety, and all team members are expected to follow Safety protocols rigorously, including the correct use of PPE. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key duties include:
- Picking customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Packing items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verifying order details before packing.
- Labeling packages for shipment.
- Moving inventory within the warehouse as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized packing station.
- Adhering to all Safety rules and procedures.
- Using provided PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Assisting with receiving or shipping duties as required.
- Contributing to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor.
This position requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of boxes, standing for long periods, walking, and bending. Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics role is preferred.
